4:33: an homage to john cage translates the duration of John Cage’s 4′33″ into the physical and temporal space of a book. Nine intervals of 30⅓ seconds divide the composition’s 273 seconds, inviting the reader to encounter silence through duration, sequence, and the act of turning—or not turning—a page.
As EdgeMedia Edition EME-0002, the book will be published in a limited edition of 25 numbered and signed physical copies. Each issued copy will receive a unique Copy ID, an individual Registry record, and one uniquely minted NFT serving as its onchain counterpart.
